Time for true fact and be grateful

Child benefit cut has became the hottest topic now in UK while not long ago UK has just been voted as the worst country to live in compared to the other Europe countries by Daily Mail. I wonder UK is really that bad compared to the rest of the world.

Thinking it all over, there is nothing called child benefit or unemployed benefit in my country. We get some deductions from tax for children and that's all. UK is the worst country to live in because British has to work 37 hours a week and only have 25 days of annual leave a year. I found this unbelievable, totally unbelievable. We work 10 hours a day usually, the working hours should be worse for countries like Japan, Hong Kong, China and many other ASIA countries. Lately, some employees from Foxconn, Hong Kong committed suicide because of the work hours and stress. There is no Union to defend them. I used to have 14 days of annual leave and when I get 25 days of annual leave here, I just couldn't stop smiling.

I agree that the tax is a bit high in UK and certain things are expensive. However, there are so many types of benefits here like unemployment benefits, child benefits, and health care. In my country, we earn money with time and effort, we pay for everything and there is no minimum wage. Therefore, be grateful British. UK is not that bad after all except I do hope to have more sunshine here. Cheers~~~
